This set of drawings is intended to capture the three-dimensional model that has been constructed, not in realistic representation, but rather, in abstraction, in 2D. The sketches above are studies of the model contour, its layer depth, its shadow tracing, as well as light vs. shadow forms.

Some of the sketches were intentionally limited to a one-minute crafting period, or less, in order to deliver the onset of form straight to paper, with minimal subjective involvement of the artist.
