These strips of celluloid were created to be used in an experimental animated short film. The movie was accompanied with a musical composition and projected onto a screen. These are a few examples of my work. Indian ink was used to paint on clear celluloid leader. I scratched onto 16mm film, too. I punchered into it. I cut into it. I sewed into it. I glued and sewed colored light gels into it. Then, I scanned the strips into the steenbeck and digitally recorded the images onto a digital video cassette. I transfered the data into a non-linear timeline in my computer. The score was added and . . . voila! A movie! You don't need a camera to make a movie. Take a look.
