This piece was constructed out of paper, basswood, cotton yarn, wire, and light gels. These six photographs are from my original drawings. I choose only six out of the twelve drawings and zoomed-in on them. I printed them with a color printer on 8"x8" squares of paper. I tried to create transitions between each picture to resemble a timeline. I did not want a cluttered collage that would overwhelm, so I kept it simple. I recycled the original basswood I used for my model. Some wood was leftover and others where taken off of the model and re-integrated into the collage. I used basswood, cotton yarn and wire to stitch into the paper and basswood to combine the piece into one. I used adhesive in a few areas to glue the color gels.
