I always start out by sketching. These doodles and notes helped me to determine my concept: What is preciousness? I decided to use a the paper napkin as a concept (from a previous exploration in the Fall of 2004) to look at our society's addiction to a disposable lifestyle. Can a disposable object be something of value? |
