procedure four found me
dealing with a patient who at first seemed to be day dreaming. as he went
throughout his day, items in the landscape of the city began to trigger memories
of a time he had never actually physically experienced. all that he knew of
this time was the films and images put forth as a representation of the decade.
he began to wonder if the images being shown to him were a manipulated instance
of that period. to understand his thoughts i asked him to merge images from
his present with images of the past. he also produced a map that would help
me understand where these key locations in the landscape where according to
his daily routine.
