salt and glue is an exploration of the poetic and formal relationships of salt (crystal, gravel, sand, particle) and glue (binder, sticky, bond, connector). The images were developed using cameraless techniques (clear leader, direct scanning), run through a steenbeck and transferred to mini-dv, and edited digitally. The sounds were developed from written descriptions of the images. the collaboration was based on minimal exchanges of content and was synchronized by sending scores and timing notes back and forth online.
